    WEATHER SENSOR DATA ACQUISITION USING DELAY TOLERANT NETWORKING

    Placing a weather sensor in a remote area requires a network media to deliver the data to an accessible database somewhere in the Internet. This situation requires Delay Tolerant Network to deliver data at a later period of time and continues to collect weather data for later deliveries to the connected network. An application is designed to be able to access the output data of an AAG wire weather sensor and keep the data in a database as long as the weather sensor is collecting data, so that those data are collectible at later time by a mobile computer with wireless connectivity. Then to deliver the data to a connected server in the Internet. This application is developed using Interplanetary Overlay Network, deployed in a mobile laptop from and to the remote sensor and an Internet connected server. It displays the output from weather sensor. The outputs displayed in a website with temperature, wind speed, and wind direction. From the implementation and experiment result, the application works successfully with the Interplanetary Overlay Network, useful to those who want to observe temperature, wind speed, and wind direction from a remote, connectionless area

    The development of information technology and the concept of smart city began to grow. Information technology needed by the public that is looking for information position and location of destination in the building (indoor positionting). Indoor positioning using WiFi has limits on location placement. To overcome these shortcomings are used sensor beacon bluetooth low energy with the advantages of having low power consumption and relatively small dimensions that can be placed in various places that are difficult to reach by WiFi. Indoor Positioning System (IPS) is a system for knowing the position of objects or people in a room by using radio waves, magnetic fields, or other sensors obtained by mobile devices. The indoor positioning method is divided into deterministic and probabilistic. Deterministic can determine the position faster by using measurement techniques such as Trilateration and Triangulation. Trilateration is a method for determining location with known three location information and device distance to each access point. This research used Trilateration method with measurement technique based on RSSI value. Based on the results of the test, RSSI of the beacon is strongly affected by objects that have thickness and density. In line of sight conditions, Android devices are able to receive signals properly and determine the location of the device using trilateration with quite accurate

    Websites today have static and dynamic contents that concern many people about the performance. People will leave or not returning the website because of loading time that is taking too long. One way to speed up a website access is by utilising web applications using Varnish cache. Varnish will store static content from a website in the memory. Static data is data that changes infrequently or rarely updated. A front end for web administrators was built for Varnish application so that the configuration can be done easily. The configuration that will be simplified through the front end of this Varnish application is detecting SQL injection and Cross Site Scripting (XSS), block files and folders, HTTP header manipulation, detects the original file whether it is deleted or blocked and error handling configuration. The front end application is implemented on Linux platform. Varnish application was tested using ApacheBench where the number of requests from the client and the response time become the main parameters of the test

Docker is also very light and fast when compared to hypervisor-based virtual machine. A university has a considerable number of students, while the number of computers in the department is not as many as the students. It makes the students not comfortable working on one computer, because configuring a computer on every lesson is different.     The growing population causes increasing clean water demand. This leads to a crisis of water demand due to high water consumption. During the dry season, water availability becomes increasingly rare for crop needs. To obtain maximum crop production, the availability of water should be sufficient. Therefore, an application for Android was created to assist monitoring of soil moisture. This application obtains data from the sensor which is connected to Raspberry Pi 3. This data will be sent to the server and displayed on Android application. LED indicator is provided to notify the water supply for the plants. The final result of this research is a system application development where a sensor with analog data can be converted into percentages and displayed in the Android application. From this percentage, users can set the indicator for the sensor to turn on the LED. Users can also view graphs from percentage data, manage plant data for the database, and set the application configuration
